Qi Gong Intensive: Activating the Acupuncture Meridians & Supporting Emotional Balance
To be honest, these Qi Gong practices are my favorite… In this beautiful practice we use breath, intentional mudras, and gentle movements to activate the energetics of the organs and their associated meridians. For example, holding a specific hand position to activate the lung and large intestine meridians (which are paired), we use intention, breath and movement to activate these organs. In doing so, we can help clear their associated challenging emotions (grief for the lungs and “holding on” for the large intestine ) and invite in more of the energetic virtues of these organs (dignity for the lungs and forgiveness for the large intestine). According the Chinese Medicine, each organ system holds a challenging emotion and a virtuous one, so this is a lovely practice that helps build physical strength while also being emotionally uplifting.
It is recommended but not necessary to complete my Level 1 Qi Gong class prior to taking this class. If you’d like to catch up, I’m offering a 50% off discount on my recorded Level 1 class with the code “catchmeup”.
This Intensive will be offered Saturday September 20th 10 AM - 2 PM.
Location: 157 Main Dunstable Rd. Suite 203, Nashua NH (in the Indra Biomagnetism office)
